Many people often ask, if black hole doesn't emit light, why is there light ring around it? If you go to Google and search for black hole images, you would come across pictures of black hole wrapped around circular light ring! So, why is this light there? And where does it come from? The answer is simple! Black hole is massive object that bends space as well as time around it.
